A Godly Mother

In Proverbs chapter 31, we could see the portrait of a mother. She is not just a nice woman. instead, she is a companion for her husband and children. A mother can fulfill her role only through the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in her life. One of the saddest words written about a mother was written concerning king Ahaziah. He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother advised him to do wickedly. 2 Chronicles 22:3

Motherhood means commitment. it means assuming responsibility to help develop the life of her children, and it is a lifelong commitment. A mother is a person who can find rest in Jesus Christ. She can then affirm her family, inspire her family, and expect the very best of Christian growth in them.
